WALK POCONO RACEWAY’S
“TRICKY TRIANGLE”

The legends of NASCAR including Richard Petty, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip have raced and won on Pocono Raceway’s 2.5 mile Super Speedway. More recently Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Carl Edwards have taken the checkered flag. On Saturday June 6th, race fans can set foot on the same track that these drivers raced on and relive history as part of the Second Annual Pocono Raceway NASCAR Foundation Track Walk. Fans participating in the walk will feel the sensation of the banking in turn one, view the almost mile long front straight from the perspective only drivers know and step across the finish line that has brought glory to so many NASCAR drivers.

Pocono Track Walk 2009Sign up today to reserve your spot in The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk at Pocono Raceway on June 6th. Proceeds from the walk benefit The NASCAR Foundation and the American Red Cross. The walk gets underway at approximately 3:00 following the ARCA RE/MAX Series race onSaturday afternoon. Don’t miss the chance to walk with members from the NASCAR community on the famous “Tricky Triangle.”

You can register online by going to www.poconoraceway.com and clicking on the NASCAR Foundation Track Walk link. Online registration is $30.00 per participant (children 14 and under may walk for free with a paid adult.)

At track registration is $35.00 per participant (children 14 and under may walk for free with a paid adult.)  At track registration will be held Friday June 5th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Saturday June 6th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the NASCAR Foundation hauler in FanFair behind the main grandstand.

The walk Kick-Off will begin at approximately 3:00 PM at Thunder Stage in the Midway behind the main grandstand.
