GORDON, MEARS,
BIFFLE AND SORENSON ON SPEED
STAGE AT POCONO RACEWAY
Infield fans at Pocono Raceway will get an up close view of four of the top drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series this weekend (June 5th-7th) as part of Pocono Raceway’s POCONO 500 activities. Jeff Gordon, driver of the # 24 DuPont Chevrolet, and Casey Mears, driver of the # 07 Jack Daniel’s Chevrolet will make live appearances at the SPEED stage in Pocono Raceway’s infield on Friday evening. They will be guests on SPEED TV’s hour long Trackside Live show that begins at 7:30PM. Infield fans are invited to attend this exciting and entertaining show hosted by Steve Byrnes, Larry McReynolds and Jeff Hammond.
The SPEED stage will be the setting for a Motor Racing Network (MRN) live show on Sunday that features a question and answer format with Greg Biffle and Reed Sorenson. This show will begin at 9:00 AM and all fans with a Pre-race Pit Pass are invited to attend.
Pocono 500 action begins on Friday at 10:15 AM with ARCA and NASCAR practice, followed by Pocono 200 ARCA time trials and at 3:40 PM Weis Markets time trials to set the starting line up for Sunday’s Pocono 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Action continues on Saturday with additional NASCAR practice followed by the Pocono 200, ARCA RE/MAX Series race scheduled for a 1:00 PM start. The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk will get under way after the conclusion of the Pocono 200. Grandstand gates open Friday and Saturday at 8:00 AM.
Sunday is action packed with pre-race activities beginning at 11:30 AM, followed by driver introduction at 1:30 PM, all leading up to actor Ryan Reynolds’, star of the soon to be released motion picture The Proposal, command “Gentleman start your engines” at approximately 2:00 PM.

A convenient “print at home feature” is available for those fans ordering their tickets online. Tickets are also available at the gate.
