I can not attend on monday, do I get a refund?
Pocono Raceway |
Please reference http://www.poconoraceway.com/faninfo for our ticket policies and procedures. .

Most of us work on Monday and spent lots of money on tickets. Being in the middle of PA nowhere near any major market, it’s hard for most of us fans to make it back out. Weather of course is no fault to anyone and I read the policy. Its really a shame and I’m not going to come back to the track. Please accept my $162 dollar lifetime donation.
Pocono Raceway |
Tony – Thank you for your message. We have always had this policy in place. We hope you will reconsider and join us at future events at Pocono Raceway.
Mark Sillhart |
100% agree Tony!!! You get the tickets and then have to work on Monday with no compensation. Lousy customer support.

If we are unable to make it back on Monday 8/22, is there any way to get even a partial refund for tickets?

What is the cost of a “new one-day infield ticket” purchasable at the Gate 1 tunnel? Is a motorcycle allowed as the “vehicle”?
Pocono Raceway |
A one-day infield ticket is $40, per person. Kids (ages 12 and under) are free. There is no cost per vehicle and a motorcycle is considered a vehicle.
Julian |
Are they going to play it on TV ?
Pocono Raceway |
We believe it will be broadcast on NBCSN.
Lisa Nellis |
Will this be shown on national TV somewhere?
Pocono Raceway |
We believe it will be broadcast on NBCSN
Steve Vitkovsky |
How much does a “new” one-day infield ticket purchased at Gate 1 Tunnel cost for a motorcycle?
Steve Vitkovsky |
Thank you for your earlier response.
Steve Vitkovsky |
Is a credit card acceptable at Gate 1 Tunnel for a new one-day infield ticket purchase? Are there remote restrooms stationed in the infield?
Thank you again.

Will food be available for sale on the terrace level?
Pocono Raceway |
Bill – There will be no food service in the Terrace Level. We will have food vendors open tomorrow behind the Grandstand and you ARE permitted to bring a cooler with you into the Terrace Level today.
Tony Rinaldi |
If we were to come tomorrow is the autograph session still moved also?
Pocono Raceway |
Tony – The autograph session was held yesterday morning. The only things which were postponed to today were the invocation, national anthem and the race, itself.
Jason |
Are tickets purchased at track subject to the $6 processing fee when you purchase online?
Pocono Raceway |

I will not be able to attend tomorrow. I understand the no refund or no exchange policy. I flew in from Chicago to attend. I remember my first time at Pocono ~1974? Parnell Jones in the ‘rotary’ engine that did not make much noise. When he came by, just a whooossshhh and not much more.
I too have been victimized by 2 rainouts this year – Firestone 600 and ABC 500. I am going back to the continuation of the firestone 600 this Saturday. Why? I have attended the event for 10+ years. Even if I could not go back to the race this year, I was given credit for my Firestone 600 ticket for any event at the Tx Motor Spwy for the next calendar year. On June 11th, once the race was cancelled and rescheduled, Eddie Gossage & Tx Motor Spwy announced that whoever could not attend the following day could keep their tickets and attend a NASCAR or Indycar event. I spent this last Saturday @ Pocono watching Indy practice and qualifying. I shelled out $150 for Sunday all for naught?! Think about offering credit for folks that come from a distance and might want to come back again.

Love the no refund policy. Of course I can’t go tomorrow, I have this thing I have to go to- it’s called a job. I spent hundreds on tickets for my father and I- all for nothing- not even a partial refund or discount on next year’s tickets. Congrats pocono- you just lost 2 customers! I’d rather spend my money at Watkins Glen.
Narissa |
You can count on losing many patrons to the Poconos In future events due to the current NO REFUND policy. it’s completely unethical to charge people for an event that was postponed to a date they are unable to attend. Sure you’ll get your $ this event and not take a financial loss because you have shifted that loss on to your customers. I promise you they will remember and I promise you that your track will suffer more financial losses than a refund this event would cost you. Please enjoy your donations this year as in future years your little track will not only lose patrons but will also lose racers. I’m writing a petition right after I finish this mail to boycott your facility for the remainder of the 2016-forever seasons. Enjoy the layoffs to come.

I have four expensive tickets and flew in from western Canada–two rainouts for two major events in one year–think Indycar should reconsider this location esp with no refund policy–the vendors and folks volunteering were very friendly and nice–were the attendants in the restrooms really expecting $$$–have only seen this in Europe–I am out like $2000 and no race–very poor deal.
Mark Sillhart |
I 100% Agree with everyone’s comment about the no refund policy. You will not see me back as a customer again. think about changing your policy and many people would re consider coming back again.
Tony |
we buy tickets and we spend the whole Sunday driving all the way from New York, then found out the game was postponed without any notice just before the gate of the raceway, and guess what, you can never get any refund under this situation, the whole thing is fucking ridiculous, those guys run this raceway as a farm, they even can not UPDATE the info through the purchased e-mail. Now I just wonder how did these farmers build this website.
