I have never met Doc, but have been a part of the nascar family at Pocono Racetrack for a good many years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Thank you Doc for bringing Nascar to our lives here in Pennsylvania.

    Mattioli Family –

My deepest sympathy, you are all in my prayers. I enjoyed my years working with Doc through our Red Cross/Pocono Raceway/Mattioli Family partnership. Your families have reached so many families who have been impacted by disasters. Doc was a real champion in recognizing the importance of reaching out and helping those less fortunate. I am sure that he is looking down on all of us now to keep up the race to help others. With warm regards, Donna Palmieri, American Red Cross

I AM ALSO THANKFUL FOR THE GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS HE & DR ROSE HAVE MADE TO ESU, MY ALMA MATER. HE WAS SUCH A GOOD PERSON, WITH A GREAT PERSONALITY AND SENSE OF HUMOR. HE WILL BE THOUGHT OF FONDLY AND REMEMBERED BY MANY, MANY PEOPLE. GOD BLESS YOU ALLL.
