Stroudsburg (PA) Native Christian Porter to Sing National Anthem
LONG POND, PA (July 4, 2013) – Fuzzy Zoeller, golfing legend and owner of Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka, will serve as the Grand Marshall for the Pocono INDYCAR 400 Fueled by Sunoco at Pocono Raceway on July 7. Additionally, Stroudsburg (PA)-native Christian Porter will sing the National Anthem prior to the 400-mile IZOD IndyCar Series race at “The Tricky Triangle.”
Zoeller, a 10-time winner on the PGA Tour, became the third golfer in history to win the Masters in his first attempt in 1979. He also won the 1984 U.S. Open. While competing on the Championship Tour, he created his own-branded vodka company in 2009. Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka currently sponsors the No. 20 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet and the Triple Crown award in the IZOD IndyCar Series. Additionally, Fuzzy’s was announced as “Official Vodka of Pocono Raceway” this year.
Porter, a 21-year-old Pennsylvania native, released his first album in 2008, at the age of 16. In May 2012, he released a new EP, “All About You,” containing five songs which are currently available to download on iTunes. This year, Porter performed on NBC’s “The Voice” as a member of Blake Shelton’s team.
