LONG POND, Pa. (May 23, 2017) – NASCAR has released its 2018 schedule and despite a bevy of changes, Pocono Raceway will host races on its traditional June and July weekends.
NASCAR revealed the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series races, as well as the NASCAR XFINITY Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
‘The Tricky Triangle’ will welcome NASCAR on June 2-3 and July 28-29.
Pocono Raceway will host its third NASCAR XFINITY Series race on June 2, followed by a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on June 3.
In July, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will compete on July 28 with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on July 29.
“NASCAR did a great job collaborating with tracks, teams and its television partners to create the 2018 schedule,” said Pocono Raceway President & CEO Brandon Igdalsky. “I sat in a lot of meetings and nothing was off the table. This schedule was created with the help of the stakeholders and that’s why it took a few extra weeks. We are excited about our dates in 2018 and wanted to get them out to our fans as soon as possible so they could begin planning.”

I always buy a race line up shirt but qualifying is now on sunday.
Pocono Raceway |
Correct, due to the schedule for this past race, we did not have qualifying lineup shirt as qualifying and the race were held on the same day in July. We did, however, have a June lineup shirt made. Please contact shop@poconoraceway.com for additional details as it may be available for purchase.
