LONG POND, Pa. (May 5, 2016) – As part of new sanctioning agreements between NASCAR and race tracks, schedules were promised to be released much earlier.
And now, 2017 race dates have been announced.
Pocono Raceway will host NASCAR Cup Series races on June 11 and July 30 and also welcome the NASCAR XFINITY Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to ‘The Tricky Triangle,” in 2017, NASCAR said today.
“This is great news for our fans,” said Pocono Raceway President & CEO Brandon Igdalsky said. “This is by far the earliest we have known race dates and really think it will benefit all racing stakeholders. Now, they don’t have to guess when our races are, they can plan. NASCAR did a tremendous job in putting the schedule together early and that’s a testament to all of their hard work.”
NASCAR Cup Series will be run on the 2.5-mile raceway on Sunday, June 11 and Sunday, July 30.
The NASCAR XFINITY Series is making its inaugural stop at Pocono Raceway on June 4, 2016 and will return in 2017 on Saturday, June 10.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be held as part of the second NASCAR weekend, schedule for Saturday, July 29.
“The only change really from this year was our first NASCAR weekend being moved back a week in 2017,” said Igdalsky. “We are hopeful this change will allow more students who might have been in school to get out to the racetrack and enjoy a tremendous experience at Pocono Raceway.”
Pocono Raceway will host seven national motorsports events during the 2016 racing season, including a NASCAR XFINITY Series race for the inaugural time on June 4. The Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race is set for June 5, the Pennsylvania 400 NSCS race on July 31 and the ABC Supply 500 Verizon IndyCar Series race on August 21. The Pocono Mountains 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck race is scheduled for July 30 and two ARCA Series Presented by Menards races with General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 on June 3 and the ModSpace 150 on July 29 offered as well.
Tickets for all races are now on sale at www.poconoraceway.com or by calling 1-800-RACEWAY.

How much are tickets for June 10 and 11 in 2017 for race.
Pocono Raceway |
If tickets prices remain as they were this year, and they should, they would start at $25 on Saturday and kids, ages 12 and under would be FREE in 100 and 200 Level of Grandstand. On Sunday, tickets start $45 for adults and $22.50 for kids, ages 12 and under.

Hello,
I operate a food truck and was wondering if they are permitted to operate anywhere in the vicinity of Pocono Raceway during race weekends. If so, what is the procedure to obtain the required permission(s) to do so? Are there time and/or location restrictions? Fees? Lastly, irrespective of operating a food truck, what are the procedures in exploring the option of occupying an official vendor spot inside Pocono Raceway?
