What to expect
: Most first
time fans are blown away
by their first LIVE
experience. The sound, the
action, the sights and the
access are all unbelievable.
So, expect an action-packed
day. We are pretty sure that at
least once on the way home you
will say, “I had no idea all that happened at a race.”
What to bring
: Don’t forget, this is an outdoor event, so don’t
overlook the importance of comfortable shoes, some sunscreen
and perhaps a hat. Other than that, bring your enthusiasm.
Pocono Fans are fun, out-going people, so be sure to bring
some personality. Oh yeah, we will even let you bring your own
12” x 12” cooler full of refreshments
(no glass please)
. One thing you
don’t need to bring, parking money…all our grandstand parking
is FREE!
When to arrive
: With acres of FREE interactive displays, kid-
friendly games & activities, LIVE music and a full pre-race
show highlighted by driver introductions, be sure to arrive
early so you can maximize your Pocono Experience.
Where to go
: Some first time musts: Fan Fair, the Pits and
Paddock Area, the Sunday morning “tweet-up” (don’t know
what that is, just follow us @poconoraceway), and anywhere
you see a six-foot red-headed fox in a fire-suit. He’s our
mascot, “Tricky”…he is usually somewhere in the heart of the
action. There are plenty of information booths throughout the
property, don’t hesitate to stop-in and ask questions.
