LONG POND, Pa. (July 28, 2016) – Eric Lee Beddingfield and the U.S. Air Force Rock Band are among the musical groups that will be playing at the Infield Block Party on Saturday, July 30 that will also feature a dynamic fireworks display. The Infield Block Party is open the public with a donation of just $10 per car. All proceeds benefit our local fire company. Fans must enter through Gate 1. The U.S. Air Force Rock Band will return to Pocono Raceway after performing the national anthem during the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400. Beddingfield, one of the most played independent country music artists, will then close out the Infield Block Party. The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m.
GRAND MARSHAL: Guy Fieri, Chef, restaurateur, New York Times best-selling author and Emmy Award-winning television host, will serve as the Grand Marshal for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pennsylvania 400 on Sunday, July 31.
Pocono Raceway’s Kids Club powered by Pocono Medical Center will be making the “Start Your Engines” command for the Pocono Mountains 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Saturday, July 30.
NATIONAL ANTHEM SINGERS: Lauren Hart, the voice of the Philadelphia Flyers, will perform the National Anthem prior to Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pennsylvania 400. The green flag is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Meghan Wotring will do the honors at the Pocono Mountains 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on July 30. Larry Olivieri will be performing the anthem at the ModSpace 150 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards on July 29.
50/50: Pocono Raceway and the Mattioli Foundation are hosting a 50/50 Raffle to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Fans should look out for 50/50 Raffle volunteers who will be roaming the entire facility. One lucky fan will be announced before the end of Sunday’s race as the winner of the raffle.
