LONG POND, Pa. (August 23, 2016) – Kids will continue to be admitted free to NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Pocono Raceway.
Top Master Locksmith announced on Monday that all kids, ages 12 and younger will be admitted free to NASCAR XFINIITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at all tracks.
Pocono Raceway will still offer free admission to all children ages 12 and younger with a paying adult. At Pocono Raceway, the free admission also applies to Friday ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards races.
“This is great news for all of our young NASCAR fans,” said Pocono Raceway President & CEO Brandon Igdalsky. “We have worked very hard to attract younger fans with things like Tricky’s Kit Kamp and our annual Kid’s Day celebration and it’s good to see the other tracks will be a part of this now, too.”
Kids Day powered by Pocono Medical Center is an annual event that features games, activities, face painting, bounce houses and much more. Tricky’s Kit Kamp is a soft-place area located behind the grandstands for Pocono Raceway’s young fans.
Pocono Raceway also offers a Kid’s Club that includes at-track benefits, entry into contests, tickets and more. Selected members of the Kid’s Club have provided the “Start Your Engines” command and participated in a fishing experience with Tony Stewart among many other initiatives in the past.

“There really is no other experience like attending a NASCAR race in person, and that’s especially true for kids,” said Jill Gregory, NASCAR senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “So many children have become lifelong NASCAR fans because their parents brought them to their first race, and this new ticket offering makes it even more affordable for families to create memories that will last a lifetime.”
NASCAR also announced several new updates to its Acceleration Nation program, including a new mobile app. The NASCAR Acceleration Nation mobile app is the first NASCAR app built specifically for kids, and includes many interactive features including the ability for kids to create and design their own race cars as well as race them within the app. It is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.
Pocono Raceway will host two NASCAR weekends in 2017, June 9-11 and July 28-30. Ticket renewals will be offered in early September and on-sale in early October.
