LONG POND, PA (June 6, 2014) – Pocono Raceway has partnered with Google Business View Program, a division of Google Maps, and Aerial Media Productions. “The Tricky Triangle” becomes the first NASCAR track in the country to partner with this Google platform. Additionally, the Raceway has hired another company to capture video using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
“This is truly a great day,” said Pocono Raceway President/CEO, Brandon Igdalsky. “Anytime an organization has the chance to be the first in their respective field to partner with a giant such as Google, it is a spectacular day. We are extremely happy about this partnership. We cannot wait to show you the amazing photos and video, once the package is all put together.”
Still photos and 360-view Photo Spheres, including the Google Tour, are being shot by Business Photo America, a Google-trusted agency. The UAV and other videography is being captured by the Kinston, N.C.-based Aerial Media Productions.

Glad to see this partnership. However, the Watkins Glen International partnered with the PlacesMobile / Google team back in 2012, So sorry to tell you that Pocono Raceway is not the first NASCAR track with this partnership. But I’m still glad you’ve partnered just the same.
