Question: What is your most memorable story at Pocono Raceway?
Answer: My most memorable stories at Pocono always include my family. Every year my mom and stepdad meet us at Pocono where we start race day on Sunday off with tailgating! Then it is off to the fan fair area followed by the pit/paddock area before the race.
Question: When, how, and why did you get interested in racing?
Answer: I always remember watching NASCAR with my grandfather growing up, but I never had a favorite driver. In 2001, I remember my grandfather telling me to “just pick one.” To which I then replied; “whoever wins this race that will be my driver”. Kevin harvick won that race and I have been a fan of his ever since. My then mom took me to my very first NASCAR race when I was 10, and I remember the excitement I had as we stood in line getting ready to meet Kevin Harvick. When it was our turn, Kevin picked me up and put me onto the souvenir hauler and signed my shirt.
Question: What is some advice you would like to give a possible first time Pocono Raceway fan?
Answer: Try to make a weekend out of the experience! There is so much to enjoy! Friday and Saturday we love to bring my son, Nevin, to watch the haulers roll in, experience the XFINITY Series race, qualifying, and more. That is one of the best parts of Pocono, you can have an awesome family experience!
Question: What driver would you like to one day meet and why?
Answer: My favorite NASCAR driver is Kevin Harvick and I have already met him a few times. I would love for my wife, Paige, to get to meet her favorite driver Brad Keselowski. For her to be able to have that experience and excitement of finally meeting him would mean the world to me
Question: What is one cool fact or talent about yourself that you would like to share?
Answer: Earlier this year, I was chosen as one of the Busch 500 to the 500, we received an all expenses trip to the Daytona 500! This was a once in a lifetime experience, and I was so glad to be able to share it with my wife, Paige.
