LONG POND, Pa. (June 29, 2016) – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson and this Family Ticket Package will return to Pocono Raceway prior to the Pennsylvania 400.
An exclusive, kid-generated question-and-answer session with Johnson and an interactive learning session for children with the NASA Rocket 2 Racecars Program are all part of the event set for Sunday, July 31.
The kids will participate in hands-on activities during the learning session centered around NASA’s “Rocket 2 Racecars” STEM education. Three-time Pocono Raceway winner Johnson, driver of the No.48 Lowe’s Chevrolet, will be answering questions shortly after from the kids in attendance.
The event will take place in Chalet Village on Sunday, July 31 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Jimmie Johnson Experience Pass and Sunday Grandstand Gate Admission Ticket are required for the event. Tickets are just $48 for a Family 4-pack or $28 per individual.

Pocono Raceway will host four additional national motorsports events during the 2016 racing season. The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards Modspace 150 will be July 29; the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Pocono Mountains 150 is July 30 and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Pennsylvania 400 is scheduled for July 31.The Verizon IndyCar Series ABC Supply 500 will be held on August 21.
