LONG POND, Pa. (May 17, 2017) – Pocono Raceway has named Rheem Manufacturing Company as its Official Heating and Cooling provider.
Using its Ruud brand and local distributor Meier Supply, Pocono Raceway has begun installing state-of-the-art, high efficiency equipment serving the raceway’s suites and guests areas.
Pocono Raceway, in an effort to enhance our guest’s experience, is investing in Rheem products in all skyboxes for a whole new degree of comfort through advanced climate and temperature control as well as energy efficient motion sensing thermostats.
“Rheem is not only one of racing’s most loyal and visible sponsors, but has been a truly great supporter of Pocono Raceway over the years and this new partnership extends that relationship,” said Pocono Raceway President & CEO Brandon Igdalsky. “Also, as the largest producer of water heating products in the world and a leader in heating and cooling technology, having access to Rheem’s cutting edge, energy efficient product line was very important to us.”
Building on the existing solid relationship, a coordinated team from Rheem headquarters and local distributor, Meier Supply worked closely with ‘The Tricky Triangle’ to evaluate comfort needs and goals. The new Ruud brand units began to be installed in March and will be fully operational in May. Pocono Raceway and Rheem will continue working together on additional valuable fan promotions and at-track and on-line activation to highlight their new partnership.
“Rheem Manufacturing Company was thrilled to work again with our good friends at Pocono Raceway to help make the fan experience at the Tricky Triangle COOLER THAN EVER,” said Ed Raniszeski, executive director for Rheem Racing. “With the help of our great distributor partner, Meier Supply and our Ruud brand products, Pocono Raceway guests will experience the best, most reliable degree of cooling comfort available. With a hundred-plus year reputation for reliability and durability, the advanced Ruud products now serving Pocono Raceway will keep fans cool and comfortable while watching the hot, exciting action on the Tricky Triangle.”
