RACE START TIME MOVED UP FOR SUNDAY’S THE GREAT AMERICAN GETAWAY 400 PRESENTED BY VISIT PA
- NASCAR Cup Series race will now begin at 1 p.m. ET due to forecasted inclement weather.
LONG POND, Pa. (June 13, 2026) – The start time for Sunday’s The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway has been moved up two hours to 1 p.m. ET due to forecasted inclement weather.
NASCAR, Pocono Raceway and Amazon Prime Video worked together to move the start time earlier to give fans the best opportunity to enjoy the entire fan experience including Pocono’s award-winning Fan Zone, Paddock Pass Holder Fan Track Access, Driver Introductions and The Great American Getaway 400.
The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA was originally scheduled for 3 p.m. The race will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video, Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM Radio. Amazon Prime Video’s pre-race coverage begins at Noon ET.
There will be no change to the opening times for the parking lots (6 a.m.) and gates (8 a.m.). Track access for Paddock Pass Holders opens at 8:30 a.m. and remains available until the conclusion of NASCAR Cup Series driver introductions. The NASCAR Cup Series drivers meeting will begin at 12:30pm.
